The litchi markets across the country finally gained momentum. Litchi of various colors and delicious taste has caught everyone’s attention. Litchi is going to different parts of the country including the capital Dhaka. The price is also within reach. According to the Dinajpur Department of Agricultural Extension, litchi yield has improved in Dinajpur. This time, Dinajpur will produce more than 30 metric tonnes of litchi. In all, more than 600 crores worth of litchi will be sold this year.It has been found that litchi of Dinajpur Sadar Upazila is more popular all over the country. Among the litchis produced in the area, Madrasi, China Three and Bedana are already on the market. However, traders said that Bombay, jackfruit and potted litchi varieties will be available in the market in a few days.
